#1590 closed defect (bug) (fixed)

Admin bar doesn't fit width of page in wp-admin panel

Reported by: _dorsvenabili's profile _DorsVenabili Owned by: hempsworth's profile hempsworth
Milestone: 1.2 Priority: minor
Severity: Version:
Component: Keywords: adminbar, css, has-patch
Cc: rocio@…, _DorsVenabili

Description

The screenshot #1 shows a css error in the adminbar, I've just installed WPMu 2.9-rc-1 and BuddyPress 1.2-rare, the current theme is BuddyPress Default 1.2-rare and there are not more plugins that BP.

But if you delete max-width:1250px; in the css class: #wp-admin-bar .padder, the error will be fixed, but another error will appear, the adminbar will be longer in the home page (I show it in the screenshot #2).

Maybe the adminbar of the blog must to be called different to the dashboard's adminbar.

The attached patch fixes this issue, I've made it full width in the wp-admin panel only.
