Description

Under Forums the link "Posted in" isn't working when I've installed BuddyPress and WPMU in a subdirectory.

It links to http://domain.com/groups/nyt-forum/forum/

when in fact the right link would be:

http://domain.com/designs/wpmu/groups/nyt-forum

/designs/wpmu/ is not included.

See my setup below.

  1. Which version of WPMU are you running?

2.8.4a

  1. Did you install WPMU as a directory or subdomain install?

directory

  1. If a directory install, is it in root or in a subdirectory?

subdirectory (domain.com/designs/wpmu)

  1. Did you upgraded from a previous version of WPMU? If so, from which version?

No I made a clean install

  1. Was WPMU functioning properly before installing/upgrading BuddyPress?

Yes. Login was working fine. When I installed buddypress I couldnt login from the buddybar login. It looks for wp-admin.php in the root instead of in the directory "designs/wpmu/" where wp-admin.php is located.

  1. Which version of BuddyPress (BP) are you running?

1.1 beta

  1. Did you upgraded from a previous version of BP? If so, from which version?

No clean install

  1. Do you have any plugins other than BuddyPress installed and activated?

Only Buddypress

  1. Are you using the standard BuddyPress themes or customized themes?

Standard that comes with buddypress

  1. Have you modified the core files in any way?

No

  1. Do you have any custom functions in bp-custom.php?

No

  1. If running bbPress, which version?

bbpress 1.0.2

I think the right url would be http://domain.com/designs/wpmu/groups/nyt-forum/forum/ for the 'Posted in' link.

I've just confirmed this, there are a few other bugs with subdirectory installs that I'm working on.

Thats good Andy. I think there's a problem with the 'Posted in' links as well in Forum when bp is installed in a subdirectory. They create the wrong url as well.

Forget the previous post. Same issue...

I meant there's a problem with the buddybar login fields when bp is installed in a subdirectory. It looks for wp-admin.php in the root instead of inside the subdirectory.

The message im getting when I login from the buddybar is "No input file specified." and I can see it looks for wp-admin.php in domain.com.
